Installation

To install, click on the "Start for free" button on our homepage.

After clicking, you will be redirected to the Slack installation page. This will install devoro on your Slack workspace.

We will require access to some scopes to create Slack channels for new pull requests and to comment in those channels when a new comment is added on GitHub.

The channel requested on the installation page is not the channel to which devoro will send the Daily Digest reports. It will be configured later on.

We're currently undergoing a review with the Slack team to become an official Slack app.

After clicking "Allow" you will be redirected to the GitHub installation page.

You will have to select if you want all repositories to work with devoro or only selected ones. This can be reconfigured via the GitHub app settings on your organization settings.

devoro does not have access to your company’s code. To access your code, a scope permitting the “Content API” has to be added. For more information about GitHub scopes, click here.

After installing and authorizing GitHub, you should get a Slack message with instructions on how to onboard your team on devoro 🙂. You could also check out the next page for a detailed explanation (onboarding takes under 3 minutes).
