Onboarding

Opening the configuration panel

devoro's onboarding is straightforward and should take under 3 minutes.

To start, open Slack and click on the devoro chat under the Apps tab. (This is on the Slack left navigation bar, where you can find your direct messages as well).

This will open your chat with the devoro app. Click on the Home tab at the top of the navigation bar

This will open the configuration panel.

Configuring your team

The configuration panel responses are a bit slow due to a known issue. We're working on a fix. Thank you for your patience!

To ping, mention, and reply to the relevant people on review channels and other features, devoro needs a mapping between Slack usernames and GitHub usernames.

To add a user, choose their Slack username on the left, and their GitHub username on the right. Click Add User to add them to the team.

Don't forget to add yourself as well!

Configuring your Daily Digest reports

devoro sends a daily report with a breakdown of all open pull requests at the time of your choosing.

You will have to specify the time you want to receive the report and the channel in which you'd like to receive it.

Make sure that the devoro bot is invited to the channel you chose. Otherwise, it won't be able to send messages there!

You can always click "Send a report now" to get an updated report right away

AI Agent Analyzer

devoro has a powerful AI analyzer that adds context automatically to all pull requests. Apart from context, it can also add titles and labels. Click on the corresponding buttons to enable or disable any of those features.

By default, the bot will add a description and a comment analyzing the PR.

Now you're all set up. Let's see what devoro can do for you πŸš€
